Craig has over 16 + years of experience within the construction design industry and architectural practice. Working on commercial hotel projects, residential pre-fabricated modular homes and even fire sprinkler design, he has developed a detailed understanding of numerous types of construction, design methods and systems. Craig enjoys technical detailing and relishes a design challenge when developing construction information and continues to improve and develop his professional skills and became a chartered member of CIAT in 2022.
In the recent wake of changing cladding regulations, Craig has helped the Axiom team developed knowledge and experience in the design of replacement facade systems. Providing technical and detail drawings, NBS specifications and reports, for planning, tender and construction in accordance with ever changing building regulations and guidance. He has gained a detailed knowledge of the requirements for the remediation of cladding on high rise buildings, incorporating safety and new designs subjects to clients needs. Craig has also undertaken site investigations of existing building cladding systems, looking for non-compliant construction and materials within the façade and reporting findings. As well as a monitoring process of cladding projects while on site within the construction phase.
Craig also enjoys running and cycling in his spare time, taking on various challenges along with Axiom colleagues, such as cycling sportives and running races, while taking part and watching a variety of other sports whenever he gets the chance.
