Luiza is a registered Architect and Urban Designer in Brazil, where she studied at the University of Santa Catarina. During her degree, she completed a one-year exchange program at the University of Brighton, studying Architectural Technology. Most recently, she passed her Part 3 exam and is preparing to take the ARB prescribed exams for Parts 1 and 2.
She has been based in the UK since 2017, relocating after graduation. Since then, she has worked on a variety of hospitality projects of different scales, including fit-outs for food chains in London such as Itsu and Coco di Mama. More recently, she has been involved in designing JD Wetherspoon hotels, including their largest scheme at Keavan’s Port, Dublin.Luiza has been with Axiom since 2022, working on a range of hotel schemes. She is currently overseeing the construction phase of Staycity on Great Eastern Street.
In her spare time, Luiza enjoys reading and drawing, with a particular passion for watercolours and hand lettering. She is also active in the local Brazilian community, volunteering to help fund a Portuguese school for local Brazilian children—including her daughters—which runs on weekends.
