MCIAT – Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists

Dan studied at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2010 he achieved a BA (Honours) degree in Architectural Technology. Following one of his design submissions, he was highly commended from the National Design Academy for his attention to detail.

In 2017, Dan was promoted to Associate Partner in recognition of the exceptional effort and continued drive to promote the practice. In the same year, he also obtained his Chartered membership with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) where he continues to deliver on the 4 core pillars of design, management, practising and self-development.

With twelve years' experience in the construction industry working mostly within the hotel and leisure sector, Dan now leads and delivers a wide range of projects for our key clients from inception through to completion. He is also a panel member for Premier Inn's Design Change Forum - Managing the technical and brand standards for all projects operating nationally.

Outside of work, Dan has recently refurbished a number of his own personal residential projects which keeps him busy. Sadly, the sale of his road bike means no more cycling, which saw him raise £7,000 for the Charity Coram in 2019 with his ride from London to Cannes. However, he has recently taken to camping and the upgrade to a new camper is on the horizon.
